Leather Care Guide
Good leather gets better with age - as long as it's looked after. These simple habits keep your jacket soft and strong for years.
Everyday care
- Wipe off dust and marks with a soft, dry cloth.
- Hang it on a wide, padded hanger so the shoulders keep their shape.
- Store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and heaters.
Conditioning
Apply a quality leather conditioner every few months, or whenever the leather starts to feel dry. Test on a hidden spot first.
If it gets wet
Blot off water and let the jacket dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer or radiator - heat makes leather stiff and can crack it.
Stains and deep cleaning
For oil, ink or heavy stains, use a professional leather cleaner rather than household products.
